GMAC - Davao

GMAC Logitech Refrigeration Corp (Davao) is the second joint venture project between GMI and AC Logistics, and GMI’s second facility in Mindanao. Strategically located in Anflo Industrial Estate, Barangay San Vicente, Panabo City, the facility aims to address the shortage of cold chain infrastructure in Southern Mindanao and cater to the growing needs of both public and private sectors.

Situated near the Port of Davao, the site benefits from its proximity to major import/export channels and a well-connected road network linking it to key cities across Mindanao.

Following its initial development with a 780-pallet storage capacity across four rooms (at temperatures as low as -25°C), the facility has since undergone significant expansions. It now offers a total capacity of 1,500 pallets, and features five loading bay doors, three of which are equipped with dock levelers, to streamline handling and dispatch operations.

Construction is also underway for an additional 10,000-pallet expansion, which is expected to be commercialized by January 2026, further solidifying the facility’s role as a major cold chain hub in the region.

Panabo City, situated in the Davao Region, serves as a strategic gateway to southeastern Mindanao and plays a vital role in the region’s economy. As part of the larger Metropolitan Davao area, the city significantly contributes to economic activities while maintaining a balanced population that supports sustainable growth. Its strategic location attracts multinational companies across various industries.

A significant portion of Panabo City’s land area is dedicated to agriculture, with vast banana plantations and other crops for both food and commercial use. Livestock and poultry farming are also prominent, further strengthening the city’s economic landscape. Despite its steady urbanization, Panabo retains its agricultural strength, making it a key player in both the logistics and agribusiness sectors in Mindanao.
